 IDENTIFICATION OF   SPARSH  PPO NUMBER 

 We know that  the Digital  Identification of  PPO number is  allotted to  all the three forces.   It contained    12 digits for PPO   2 digits  for User Name-suffix.

First  number indicates  the Force   Army, Navy  and Air force

No.1 and 2 for Army,   No.  3 and 4 for Navy ,     No. 5 and 6 for Air force 

No. 7  for  Defence accounts department

No: 8 for Defence civilians

FIRST -1 DIGIT -2 FOR ARMY PBOR

 NEXT -2 DIGITS - 23 is the Code number of   (MRC )   RECORD OFFICE,    

Next    4 digits  1998  INDiCATES THE YEAR OF RETIREMENT 

Next   5 digits 12345  is the running  ppo number 

next  -suffix-   01 for pensioners     and 02 for  family pensioners 

Total 14 digits  all the pensioners.

Corr  PPO    number will be allotted  as Corr 1, 2  and 3  and so on.

It means, Army PBOR, of MRC records,,discharged in 1998 and his sparsh PPO number is  12345 , 01 is for pensioners and 02 for family .
