Dear Veteran Brothers,

Still many veterans are inquiring about the Rate of family pension  and how to find out.

It is simple;  As per regulation, 30% of emolument (Pay) is the Rate of Family pension.

Many of us are not aware of Last pay drawn./ Emolument.   But , we all know  about the Basic pension of  ourselves.

Hence ,  it is simple formula to calculate  Family pension .   that is, 60% of our basic pension is the Rate of Family pension.   For your convenient,   we are giving one chart for ready reference..

You can  cross check  from the Table  25 of CDA Cir  555  and  table 27 of Cir 666 for Normal  family pension.
