   BENEFITS  OF  DEFENCE SALARY    PAKAGE (DSP) A/C IN SBI IN BRIEF

Our MOD gas entered in to a MOU with State Bank of India  in having a DSP  accounts  for Defence  Serving as well as pensioners .    By having the DSP  account with SBI, there are many    benefits, particularly for pensioners.    All our existing  Defence pensioners  having account with SBI may  convert their  a/c to DSP  .   Some of the benefits are given below:

 

1.      If  a defence pensioner dies in an accident, his wife /NOK will get  30 lakhs.as insurance cover.

2.      There is no commission on Demand Draft.

3.      There is no commission  for transfer of funds  through NEFT/ RTGS   for any amount

4.      There is no  processing charges for Loans like Housing  loan/  Car loan  etc.

5.      There is concession of 10% in the margin money for loans.

6.      Yearly Locker Rent  10%  concession

7.      Un limited withdrawal  by ATM  in SBI branches .

8.      Defence Family pensioners  are also eligible for these benefits.

9.      If the defence pensioner  meet with an accident,  for plastic surgery, and other major surgery  ,  reasonable  amount is given.  few lacs.

10.  Still many more benefits for the family of pensioner who died in accident like Daughter”s marriage , education loan  etc 

 Our Defence pensioners  having  pension  account with SBI , may approach  the SBI branches  and convert their existing  a/c to  DSP account  and avail the  benefits.
