MENTAL AGONY FACED BY PENSIONERS- LIFE CERTIFICATE
Every year, the Life certificate is submitted to concerned banks by the Pensioners in the month of November, but in the year 2020 it was up to 28-2-2021,to confirm that the Pensioner is Alive.
In the recent past, we
have come across umpteen number of cases
, where despite having submitted the
LIFE CERTIFICATE in time, the pension
for the Month of March 2021 is not credited.
On enquiry from CPPC of
Banks, we understand that the LIFE CERTIFICATE
is not UPLOADED in the system by the Branches, hence pension not credited.
We do not understand that who will be responsible/ accountable for not forwarding/ uploading the certificate to CPPC. Most of the pensioners are dependent on their pension only . Pension alone is their LIVELIHOOD.
If the pension is not
credted for a month or so, it is very difficult
to manage and imagine their
plight and untold sufferings and miseries.
It would be a great
gesture on the part of the Banks to take immediate action to alleviate the sufferings of the pensioners.
