The below
mentioned veteran came to our Trust Office for renewal of his ECHS card-

On going through his documents , we noticed that he is a
Pre- 1985 retiree and not applied for
Endorsement of Family pension so far.
We explained the
importance of Endorsement of family and
the suffering of widows due the non
availability of Joint Notification.
This was not done by their husband during their life time.
For such widows, the time taken for sanction of pension is
from minimum 6 moths to 2 yrs.
The veteran
expressed his ignorance and felt sorry.
Immediately,
prepared the Appendix- 1 and Annexure II in Triplicate, got it signed,
attested in all respect and guided him
to forward the same to his Record Office through his pension paying branch.
The veteran was so happy
with our action and timely and
valuable help .
We are also happy
in helping one more Pre-1985
veteran for Joint Notification..
