On hearing the services of our Welfare Trust , the below
mentioned widow called on us for a
help .

The sepoy died while in service in the year 1996 ( 18-10-1996). As he was a un-married , his mother was
sanctioned with Family pension .Vide: F/NA/2445/1997
Unfortunately, the PPO was not received by her and the
Bank.
The Lady visited the bank many a time, and was informed
that they have not received the PPO.
After some times, the Lady thought that
she is not eligible for pension.
On hearing about
our service, the Lady visited our office and explained the events. On going through the available papers with
her, we noticed that she is eligible for
pension.
We wrote to Record office
in this regard and received a reply with a copy of PPO
which was issued in 1997 itself.
Now we have taken up the case with Bank, Record
Office and CDA for disbursement of Family pension with Arrears Calculation from 19-10-1996 to 30-9-2018.
As it is very late only Time barred Claim to be made.
The innocent Lady was so happy with our action and sincerely thanked us for this valuable
help.
