CHANGE OF AIR FORCE GROUP

                       CHANGE OF  GROUP  FOR AIR VETERANS.

Dear Air Veterans,

Those who were enrolled and discharged in the Trades of :

ACH GD, Catering Assistance, and MTD   were under Group  IV.

From 10-10-1997, Air Force Groups were reduced to 3,  i.e  X,Y and Z.

Accordingly,  these 3 Trades are brought under Group ‘Y’ 

  As Per CDA cir 430, the revision was carried out  for the group IV only  for them

Now, CDA has issued a cir 607, by which  the pension of these 3 trades  are to be revised

Under Group-Y   with effect from 01-07-2009 to 30-6-2014  and arrears to be paid.

But PDAs are not aware of these Trades / Group..

The affected  Air Veterans are advised to write to  AFRO  /DAV  requesting them to inform

 the PDA/ Bank ,  the Group  as  “ Y “ instead of group  IV, furnishing  your full particulars
Our DAV  will write to CDA for issuing a Revised/ Corr PPO  in this regard.

On receipt of the  confirmation of group, Corr PPO  the PDA will pay the arrears.

All affected Air veterans  are  advised to act  immediately to get the arrears.
