WAIVER OF OBTAINING SIGNAURE FROM PDA / BANKS.

WAIVER OF PDA’S SIGNATURE IN SOME CLAIM  APPLICATIONS.

Of late, it has come to our knowledge  that our veterans and family pensioners are facing difficulty in obtaining signature / attestation from  PDAs.

1.       They say , we do not have your particulars/ documents  like PPO, Discharge book , which are held with CPPC.  Hence, we can not confirm the particulars furnished by you.  We can send it to our CPPC and get it confirmed.  If at all they sign, it is with  half heartedly.

+The affected  cases are:

2.     Endorsement of Family pension

3.     Re- Computation/  Broad banding of Disability Element.

4.      LTA  certificate

In the above applications, we give the required / available particulars from our Discharge book and PPO   and Bank pass book.  These documents are readily available with the pensioners/ family pensioners. It can be easily verified by the PDA. But  they want to confirm with the Documents available with CPPC.

Note:

   We feel, the PDA has no role to play here . whatever  particulars furnished  are from the documents only  which are available in the Respective Record Office, hence PDA need not come into the picture.

Same way in case of  LTA certificates,   it  may be accepted with self declaration instead of PDA  certifying that the LTA is paid / not paid from  so and so date.

So, only the pensioner has to declare that the correctness of his particulars, thus  avoiding to approaching the PDA for confirming the given particulars.

Hence, signature of PDA  in the Annexure/ formats / LTA certificate may be removed /  waived.

Only Self declaration should be accepted  with the copies  of Discharge book and PPO and ban k pass book

We Request all our ESM Associations / Organisations  to take up these points  to Apex level/  MOD  for waiver of  Signature of PDAs in such applications.,
