The under mentioned veteran
called on us for verification of correct
Pension and arrears.

On going through his pass
book entries, we confirmed that he is being paid correct Rate of pension and received the correct amount of arrears
also.
On verifying his other
documents and discharge book, we noticed
that
He was discharged on Low
medical category with 20% disability.
Hence he was eligible
for Broad Banding.
Immediately we prepared the
Annexure in Triplicate and guided him to
forward it to his Record Office.
Now, after 4 months, he has
received a Corr PPO revising his Disability element as 50% from 20%.
The veteran was very happy and expressed his sincere
thanks to our Trust.
Our Trust also is happy in
helping one more Veteran.
Broadbanding without filing a case ? My doubt is genuine.

ReplyDeleteWhether Broad Banding of Disability Pension is applicable to non litigant cum retired on completion of tenure/on expiry of present engagement/Discharged/Superannuation etc cases also. Please clarify
