DEMAND FOR DETAILS OF REVISION OF PENSION-CDA CIR 184



              



Dear Veteran Brothers,

Please read the following points for your benefits:

As per RBI  Letter No: DGBA.GAD No.H 10975/45-05-031/2006-07
Dated  09-01-2007  and CDA Cir 128 dt.13-07-2007.,
All Banks  / PDAs are instructed to provide –DETAILS OF REVISION OF PENSION
And Pension slip to Pensioners when ever a Revision is carried out.
For Example:
CDA circulars:  after 6th CPC: 
397,  430, 500,501,502 503 and 555..
As per these circulars , our pension was revised and we are not provided with the details.
We are not sure of the revision -correct Rate  by the Banks.
Now, lots of complaints from Pensioners/ Family pensioners received  regarding
Incorrect adoption of Basic pension and Arrears.

When you approach Branches, they say , we do not know, every revision and arrears being  calculated at CPPC.  If you want, you can approach CPPC.
This is the situation.
It is the duty of the Banks to provide  the Details of Revision  as per Circulars to each pensioners.  But it is done.  Refer CDA cir 184  -Annexure.
Hence, all veterans and Family pensioners are advised  to apply for Details from their  bank Branch.under intimation to respective CPPC in the following format,  stating that I want the Details as per the Format.:

CDA CIR 184-   DETAILS OF REVISED PENSION:

NAME OF PDA/ BANK:

  1. Name of pensioner/  Family pensioner with Rank and Group.
  2. SB  A/C No:
  3. Category-     : Defence/  Civil
  4. PPO Nos including Corr PPOs
  5. Qualifying Service
  6. Existing Basic pension before revision
  7. Basic pension after revision
  8. amount of Arrears credited  due the revision

    Commutation End date:
    Disability element  percentage and Amount
    Enhanced Rate of Family pension end Date
     ( Date of death of pensioner )

  1. I am drawing my pension from PNB Bari Brahmana. I have approached to my bankers to know the detalis of arrears of DL-33 but they do not provide any details about revision of pension and CPPC Chandigarh also do not entertain any request about any problem. I suggest that CPPC must be disband forthwith and pension should be dealt by the local DPDO only
