A MODEL CALCULATION - 7TH PAY COMMISSION.





7TH PAY COMMISSION CIRCULAR-570-  ISSUED

                    A MODEL CALCULATION.

.1.  Existing  basic as on 31-12-2015(OROP)  X 2.57 will be new Basic
Pension from 1-1-2016.

2   The Minimum Basic pension for Pre- 2016 retirees will be Rs.9000
Including Family pensioners, Reservist and Recruits.

  1. No change for Ex-Gratia Pensioners of BP- 750 and 645.

  1. Additional pension for 80yrs and above  will not be added in the Existing Basic
  2.  for arriving New Basic. And also Disability and War injury pension.
These elements will be added after arriving the new basic.

  1. The existing  Disability  element will continue till the Anomaly committee
      gives the report.

We give you a Model calculation:
For example-For  the Rank of Havildar  - Group- Y    QS- 20 yrs. Age-82.
Existing Basic as on 31-12-2015 (OROP)..7795..00
Disability 50%.....................................       2338.00
                                                                       ------------
                                                   Total….10133.00
Additional pension @ 20%..on10133         2027.00
                                                                12160.00
DA at 125%..for 12160.........................  15200.00                                                                                                                                              27360.00- Now getting.

                                                                       
Now  the Revision as per 7th Pay commission will be:

Existing Basic  pension……………….7795.00
 New BP byMF 2.57  (7795 X2.57)……….20034.00
  Then Addl Pension 20% on 20034………   4007.00
   And the Existing DE……………………… 2338.00
                                             Total……   .    26379.00
    DA at 2%...........................................          528.00
                                           Net   pension    26907.00
This  is how the calculation.

But if the existing pension is more, it will continue.


For Normal cases – where no Disability and no Additional pension:
Havildar     Group- Y   Qs  :20yrs.

Basic pension as per OROP as on 31-12-2015…7795.00
DA at 125%........................................................  9744.00
                                               Total…….            17539.00-    Now being paid.

This will be revised  as……..
 Existing BP…………….7795.00
As per 7th PC      ………..7795 * 2.57=  20034  + DA.....   .will be paid

The difference per month will be 20034-17539=2495 pm.

Arrears from 1-1-2016 to 31-10-2016  will be 2495* 10=24950..+DA

  1. Rs 2338/_ shown as DE is pre_revised. So adding 2% DA seems incorrect. Prerevised basic should get DA of old rates. Ie as on 31 Dec 2015 DE + 125% DA was in vogue, so now 2%DA on prerevised scales seems incorrect. Mob 9495761272

  6. The DA for prerevised Disabilty pension should 132%.. wef 01.7.2016 and not 2% as given in your model calculation. please clarify

  7. Sir,The MSP for serving persons. Is Rs 6200 as per 7cpc.what about pensioner.
    50percent should be paid.becàuse MSP Applicable for DA and pension.pl clarify
