Extending his support to the ex-servicemen protesting at New Delhi's Jantar Mantar, senior lawyer Ram Jethmalani expressed his concern over the delay in the implementation of the 'One Rank One Pension', saying PM Narendra Modi had “failed his dream”.
Joining the ex-servicemen's protest at Jantar Mantar on 78th day,
Jethmalani added his voice to the growing chorus demanding the
implementation of 'One Rank One Pension' and slammed the Modi government
for not fulfilling the demands. “I am ashamed to say that Modi has
completely frustrated my dream of him,” the ANI quoted Ram Jethmalani as
saying at OROP protest in New Delhi.
“The politicians unfortunately have let down the entire nation,” said
Ram Jethmalani, adding, “I feel ashamed in saying I'm a politician too,
but I'm not one of those politicians who will forget their friends &
people of nation”.
