A LITTLE RELIEF TO AIR FORCE SGTS.
Recently the PCDA(P) has issued a Circular 482 dated 19-4-2012. ( MOG letter No. PC-10(01)/2009-D ( Pension/ Policy) Vol.II dated 27-3-2012. )
In that , there is a meager improvement in pension for the Rank of Sergeant Group-I / X- Table no.111 of CDA cir 430.
At present, a Sgt.-Gp-I with 15 yrs of qualifying service is getting a Basic pension of Rs.5492/-n with effect from 1-7-2009, now it is revised as Rs.5519/- w.e.f 1-7-2009.
Similarly, Sgt. Gp-I , with 15.5 yrs getting Rs.5623 will get revised Basic as Rs.5630/-.
In the same way Corporal Gp-I also getting revised from5395 to 5519 ( Table No 106 of cir 430)up to 17 yrs there is variation.
Corporal Gp-IV – from Rs.4290 to 4353 ( Table- 110 of 430).up to 17 yrs there is variation.
The affected Sgts and Corporals may approach their bank branches for effecting the revision.
It can not be called an improvement in pension. Now the Sgts Gp.I have been brought at par with LACs and Cpls of Gp.I.
