SIGNIFICANCE OF PPO NUMBERS.

Veterans are requested to know the importance/ Significance of the PPO Numbers which indicate the TYPES of Pension / Rates of pension .

For JCOs and Other Ranks.

S/ …./ 1998……. Here ‘S’ indicates , it is a service pension, it may be Super annuation/ retiring after 15 yrs.

S/CORR/…../ yr This is revised pension Order
S/ JN/ ….. /yr This is for joint Notification of wife, Endorsement of Family pension.
S/R/ MODP/…..yr.. This is also for Modified PPO for endorsement of family pension.

D/      / yr.   For Disability pension for some period

D / RA/     /yr. Disability pension Re-assessed - may be for life or for some period.
D/ BC/...?yr.   Disability for Battle casuality / War injury/ Special pension for blinded.
I.P /  ../ yr       Invalid pension

FOR COMMISSIONED OFFICERS:
M/...../ yr        Service pension
M/ FP/..../yr    Family pension
M/ Dep/  yr     Dependent Family pension.

Dear Veterans brothers, please try to know your own pension- Type and Rate. So that we can confirm our correct pension being paid by the banks.
