NEW  SYSTEM OF PENSION PAYMENT    - CPDA HAS STARTED 

FUNCTIONING

                        CENTRALISED PENSION DISBURSING AUTHORITY.

There was a notification  from CGDA  vide their letter dated 22-8-2019

.

By this system, there will be NO CPPC.  

At present, Pension Sanctioning Authority ( PCDA (P) )  will send the pension papers to CPDA-Allahabad  instead of CPPCs . Later on to many other Service centers  like DPDO/  Pension Call Centers etc.  May be some Banks also .

We have to wait and see.

 Pension Sanctioning Authority will send the Pension related papers to CPDA  and Pension papers will be processed by CPDA and credit will be given to pensioners bank account.  Pensioner will be provided with a copy of PPO.

Pension will be directly credited to pensioners Bank account.

CPPC has no role to play.   The pensioners account will be like any other customers account . .

Only difference is, the credit will be from CPDA, Allahabad , electronically.

 No delay in implementing any Government orders/ Circulars .

The interpretation of orders/ circulars will be uniform.

The credit will be in a same day throughout the country unlike Banks in different dates.

There will be SERVICE CENTRES in many places for any queries/ complaints and  ,grievances.  

We can not lodge  any  complaint  to Banks towards  pension related matters.

One of our Veteran is issued with the PPO with  the  PDA station  as = CPDA Allahabad.  And no CPPC.     Only pension drawing Bank and Account number is available..

We are enclosing a copy of PPO  for  your information.

Let us be ready for accepting the new environment.

GOOD NEWS FOR AIR VETERANS

                                    A HAPPY NEWS FOR AIR VETERANS 

Those Air Veterans of Group IV-  Catering Asst,  MTD, ACG HD  were upgraded to Group Y  w.e.f  1-7-2009   , but they were not issued with revised PPO.

Hence the Banks have not revised their pension due to non receipt of PPO.

The affected Air veterans had applied for revised PPO.

We had helped many veterans in this regard from our area.. 

One  CPL. Rajendran ( 615836)      has received the Revised PPO .

 He called on us and expressed his sincere thanks for the help extended by us.

All those who had applied may receive the revised PPO soon.

                             

HARDSHIP FACED BY VETERAN - ECHS

UNFORTUNATE HAPPENING AT ECHS POLY CLINIC, TIRUNELVELI.

The below mentioned veteran was discharged on 01-03-2019,

             SUB. MICHAEL YAGAPPAN.

Name: Michael Yagappan  Rank: Subedar  Regt.No: JC 700096A

PPO.N: 185201900236-0100.

An amount of Rs.67000 was deducted towards ECHS contribution as per PPO.

He had applied for ECHS smart card ON LINE.

He has received the temporary Slip .

He presented the same to  O I/C Poly Clinic and wanted to avail treatment,

O I/c , on verification, noticed that there is a difference in DOB of his wife  in PPO and Discharge book.  Due to this he, refused  veteran to avail treatment.

There was no observation from Record Office and Temporary slip was generated.

The veteran has a Chest problem and wanted  immediate check up but refused .

The veteran wanted check up for himself only  and not for his wife .

This is highly objectionable  on a humanitarian ground.

 The matter is reported to  AMC Record office and  MD ECHS  for this unhealthy action  of our  Officer In Charge.
