DA / DR ENHANCEMENT APPROVED BY CABINET COMMITTEE

 

We are happy that, our Govt. has anounced the Enhancement of  DA/ DR  

 by 2%  with effect from 01-01-2025.

OUR DA  IS INCEASED FROM 53 %  TO 55%  W.E.F   01-01-2025.

Cabinet approves release of an additional instalment of Dearness Allowance to Central Government employees and Dearness Relief to Pensioners w.e.f. 01.01.2025

48.66 lakh Central Government employees and 66.55 lakhs pensioners to benefit

2% benefit to cost Rs. 6614.04 crore per annum to exchequer

The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved to release of an additional instalment of Dearness Allowance (DA) to Central Government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) to pensioners w.e.f. 01.01.2025 representing an increase of 2% over the existing rate of 53% of the Basic Pay/Pension, to compensate against price rise.

The combined impact on the exchequer on account of increase in both Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief would be Rs. 6614.04 crore per annum. This will benefit about 48.66 lakh Central Government employees and 66.55 lakhs pensioners.

This increase is in accordance with the accepted formula, which is based on the recommendations of the 7^th  Central Pay Commission.

We understand that still many of our veterans have not  converted their Normal SB a/c to  DSP a/c.   Kindly take initiative to convert for getting the benefits.

   converted in to  DSP account.

They have instructed us to submit oneDECLRATION   regarding MISUSE of the ECHS Cards.

ENHANCEMENT OF DEARNESS RELIEF TO EX-GRATIA PENSIONERS

 

DEAR VETERANS, 

The Dearness relief  for Ex-Gratia pensioners  is enhanced by 16%   w.e.f  01-01-2024..

The orded is released very late  i.e  on 09-08-02024 .

For  pensioners it is  from  427% to 443%     and for Families  from 419% to 435%

An Advisory from MD, Echs is published. In that, it is clearly mentioned that, members 70yrs and above  need not obtain Referral from Polyclinic to visit Empannelled Hospitals. They can visit hospitals with ECHS card  for any complain  without referral.

All our ESMs may please convey this message to others in their areas..

GOOD NEWS- PERSONNEL ACCIDENT INSURANCE LIMIT IS ENHANCED IN SBI DSP ACCOUNT.

 

SALARY PACKAGE ACCOUNT IN SBI FOR DEFENCE SERVING PERSONNEL AND PENSIONERS.

 The SBI authorities have entered in to a MOU  with ARMY. AIR FORCE  AND CRPF enhancing the  Personnel Accident Insurance  (PAI) limit.

By this MOU,   the existing limit of  30 lacs  is enhanced to 50 lacs.

For Army…. From 30 lacs to  50 lacs  w.e.f    14-01-2025

For Air Force         30 lacs to 50 lacs    w.e.f.    04-02-2025

For  CRPF…………….30 lacs to 50 Lacs  w.e.f    04-02-2025

All other existing benefits will continue.

All our veterans are requested to convert their existing Normal SBI account  and

  ATM Debit cards  into  DSP account  to avail this benefit.

WIDOW'S OF HONY NB,SUBEDARS - ELIGiBLE FOR REVISED PENSION.

Here is a good news for Hav,granted with Hony.Nb.Subedars   there was a circular 631, and eligible Hony Nb,Sub gor ther arrears,

Now,  as per CDA cir 678  dated 24-09-2024,   and MOD Ltr No, 1(13) 2016/D( Pen/Pol) dated 22-8-2024,  the Widow's of Hony.Nb.Suberars also ligibile for the same benefit.

the affected  family pensioners may approach their  Bank baranches for availing this benefit..

ELIGIBILITY OF SERVICE ELEMENT AND DISABILITY ELEMENT FOR PRE 2006 BOARDED OUT VETERANS

 

Dear veteran brothers, 

We had already published the same article. Once again we are publishing the same as still some banks have not included the  service element, paying Disabilityelement only..

There was a provision for granting DISABILITY ELEMENT  only for those

 who were boarded out with less than 10 yrs of service prior to 1-1-2006..

Now, our Govt., on considering the sufferings of such veterans , has  published

  an order in 2020  for granting both Service element and Disability for such veterans

  Whether Pre  or Post 2006 invalided out veterans w.e.f  01-01-2006.

The Dept of Pension and Pension welfare has issued an order on 28-7-2020.

We understand that , still some Banks are paying only Disability element .

The Order is very clear to pay both SERVICE  ELEMENT and DISABILITY ELEMENT  to such veterans w/e/f  1-1-2006.

The affected veterans may approach  their Bank branches for getting this benefit

 or  they can approach our Trust office for guidance and help.
