On hearing of our services, one Widow pensioner Smt.Sornavel approached us for confirming the rate of her family pension.
Smt. SORNAVEL W/O LATE NK. Sankaralingam Esakki Service No; 13658425F.
Group- Y QS: 17 yrs. Record Office_ Brigade of Guards.
On going through the available documents, we noticed that she was sanctioned pension
vide: F/NA/ 012737/2016.
The Rate is mentioned as Rs.3500 w.e.f 24-9-2012.
PDA; Indian Overseas Bank.
The Bank was paying pension at the Rate of 3500 only . They have not revised the pension as per OROP I from 1-7-2014 and
As per 7th CPC w.e.f 1-1-2016 and again as per OROP II w.e.f 1-7-2019.
We reported this discrepancies to CPPC Bank and Record Office.
Record Office has replied with he rates of Pension in various dates and instructed the bank to revise the pension and pay the arrears without further delay,
Now, the bank has revised the Rate of pension in different periods and paid the arrears amounting to Rs.8 Lacs plus.
The Widow and her Son visited our Trust Office and expressed their thanks for this valuable help .
Our Trust is very much satisfied with our efforts for achieving one more favourable result.
