ATTENTION VETERAN BROTHERS SERIES- 41

 

                 MISMATCH  OF    NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH OF SPOUSE 

 Dear Veteran Brothers,

It has been noticed with concern that  all the Banks are strictly  verifying the PPO for correctness of  DATAs  , that is,  Name and Date of birth of Wife . 

If it is not matching with other Official Records like  AADHAR  / PAN CARDS, PASS PORT,  SCHOOL CERTIFICATE AND BANK PASS BOOK,  the Banks are not releasing the Family pension  on demise of Pensioner . 

We have time and again advised/ requested our veteran brothers to check and verify the PPO  for correctness of Name and DOB of wife, but  veterans are not  serious about this. Hence, the widows are now facing the Hardship in getting their family pension.

For example:   Name of wife in PPO;   MUBBIDATHY

   But in Aadhar and PAN cards ……it is MUPPIDATHI…

 see the difference. BB/ PP  and  thy/ thi -       Date of birth also not matching

The pensioner died in 2019, still Family pension not released due to this mismatching.

This is one example only.  There are so many such cases.

Every day, veterans are visiting our Trust for rectification.

On scrutiny,  most of the PPOs  are having some kind of mismatching. 

For correction:  Affidavit, and news Paper publication required , incurring  an expenditure of about Rs.3000/-

Hence, We,the Exwel Trust, once again request our veteran brothers, to check and verify  their PPO immediately  for any MISMATCHING   of Name and DOB of their wife.

If  there is any mismatching, please take immediate step to correct the same , to avoid suffering of widows at latter date;

All our ESM Associations are requested to guide our veteran in their areas suitably

CENTRAL GOVERNMENT RELEASED DA/ DR ENHANCEMENT ORDER

 

            DA  / DR  REVISED  ORDER RELEASED. 

     Our Government has released order for ENHANCEMENT OF DA/ DR  for

Central Govt Employees and pensioners   with effect from 01-07-2021.

 

The present Rate of DA is 17 % , this will be  revised as 28 %, an increase of 11%

This  revised Rate will  be effected along with July 2021 Pay and pension.

BAKRID FESTIVAL GREETINGS

ONE MORE WIDOW HELPED FOR PENSION

 

SMT. MUPPIDATHI  W/O LATE  HONY.NB.SUB  MM.ARUMUGAM           

 

            One Hony.Nb.Sub  MM.Arumugam, died on 22-11-2019.

 We understand that , his wife reported the death  to pension paying Bank, SBI.

No action taken,  reply was , pension has not come from CPPC.

Now, the widow has approached us for help in getting her family pension.

PDA: SBI- Tirunelveli-Junction . TN.

There is JOINT NOTIFICATION  in favour of Muppidathi.

The Bank should have switched over to family pension on receipt of Death certificate and application.  But not done.

Now, it is about 1 1/2 yrs, the poor widow is without pension. It is regrettable.

We have now taken up with the  Branch and CPPC, SBI Chennai for immediate switch over   to family pension, enclosing the copies of Death certificate, PPO and pass book.

The  widow was very happy with our action and thanked us for this help.

Our Trust is also happy in helping one more widow .

 

ONE HANDICAPPED SON OF VETERAN HELPED

 

  

                             S.RAHTINAMARIYAPPAN S/O  LATE SEP.LM.SUBRAMANIAN

                     Veteran Sepoy LM.Subramanian expired and his wife Smt.Eswari was drawing family pension. Recently, she also expired. They had a Handicapped Son.

Name: S.RATHINA MARIYAPPAN     S/O  LM.Subramanian

Rank: Sep:  Regt.no; 13824658.    Mother : Smt.Eswari.

Record Office: ASC (South )

Now, the Handicapped Son approached us for a help in getting his pension.

When applied for pension, his name is Mismatched at Record Office,

He is holding  Aadhar and ECHS cards.

Now , as per RO instructions, we  prepared  an Affidavit,  News paper Publication  and  an Application  , got it singed and advised him to forward  through  Zilla Sainik board, Tirunelveli.

The poor Handicapped  , unmarried  Son  , thanked us for this valuable help and guidance.

Our Trust is also happy in helping a handicapped Son of a veteran.

 

AN UNPLEASANT AND SURPRISE NEWS FROM ECHS AUTHORITIES.

 

 

 Our ECHS, Central Organisation has issued an Advisory on 01-07-2021  regarding cancellation / Blocking of  ECHS cards of Deceased Primary Members.

 

At present, when a Primary Member dies, his card will be cancelled/ Blocked and the other cards will be functional while the Spouse will become the Primary member automatically. 

Now,  to our surprise, this Advisory , Para 3(d)  states that, 

“ All the Cards will remain functional once the card s of an ESM / Primary beneficiary will be blocked  due to demise  for next 6 months. The new Primary beneficiary will have to process for making fresh Cards , under change of DATA and the online application well be verified by the respective Record Office  before printing new cards.” 

Here, when the Primary member dies, his card will be cancelled and the other cards will be functional for another 6 months only.

The spouse has to register for new cards for all again giving the New datas.

This is an unpleasant news.

All our ESM Associations/ Organisations are requested to express our protest to ECHS Authorities  and to press for continuing the present system.
