VETERANS DAY 2020

"A VETERAN  IS SOME ONE WHO, AT ONE POINT  IN HIS LIFE  WROTE 
A BLANK CHEQUE PAYABLE  TO HIS " NATION" FOR AN AMOUNT UP TO UNLIMITED AMOUNT AND INCLUDING HIS LIFE . 
 HIS OATH OF ENLISTMENT HAS NO EXPIRY DATE."

ARMED FORCES VETERANS  DAY  CELEBRATION.

Today , 15-01-2020 is celebrated as ARMED FORCES VETERANS DAY  -

            We , veterans are happy in that.  

 We respect  and remember  those who lost their lives  during Wars,  those who lost their Limbs in War and war like activities , those  who  have performed  valuable service  for safe guarding  our country STILL ALIVE.

WE APPRECIATE  THIS FUNCTION.

 But  what is happening after this day.   We just forget. 

It is not sufficient to remember them on this day, 15 th August and 26^th January  and pay homage  to Martyrs

Give them   Respect and honour at all times .

There are so many anomalies pending   like  Restoration of War injury Element  for those who lost their Limbs in  action,   Family pension to Re-married widows,  not correctly classifying the right type of family pensions,  abnormal delay in sanction of family pension , unnecessary demand of irrelevant documents  and so on.  Because of this delay, the pensioner/  Family pensioner could not enjoy the benefit as they expire  before the sanction.

We humbly request our Authorities, to give more importance  to address the Grievances/ anomalies  than  observing the DAYS.
