A FRUITFUL RESULT OF OUR SUSTAINED EFFORTS

AN OCTOGENARIAN -  85 YRS OLD.

Here is a case, where one soldier ,

 a service swimmer , while participating in a swimming tournament, was injured.  When he was inside the pool, another swimmer dived over him, due to this, his eardrum was damaged and became completely deaf.

Treatments from Military Hospitals did not help him for recovery,.

So , he was discharged from service after 8 yrs of military service with out pension.

The poor veteran was working as  watchman, Gate Keeper in private houses.
He, along with his family memebers approached us for a help.
We made correspondence with  Arty Records and MOD  but was denied .

DATE OF DISCHARGE: 13-9-1963.

NOW HE IS ABOUT 85 YRS OLD.  AN OCTOGENARIAN.

Mean while, Our Supreme court  passed one order, stating that , when a Solder is recruited, he is 100% medically fit  and in latter stage if he becomes disabled, it is due to Service causes only  and this disability is Attributed to service  and hence he will be eligible for pension.

On this Information, we made further correspondences with Record Office, MOD, DESW  but  again received negative answers.

Then, we advised him to approach  AFT  with the latest Supreme Court ruling and our correspondences.  

Accordingly, he approached AFT  and  after lots  of correspondences, 
 AFT has given Judgment in his favour   for sanctioning  Service Element.

Now, AFTER  56 YEARS,  he is sanctioned with Service Element
 vide  PPO No: D/ 00047/2019. w.e.f  26-07-2013.

The veteran and his family members were  very happy and expressed their sincere gratitude  to our Trust for all the helps and guidance’s

Our Trust is happy in succeeding in our sustained efforts for about 5 yrs,in getting the pension for a disabled/ deaf  veteran.
