PLIGHT OF WIDOWS IN
GETTING THEIR DE-LINKING (CIR 568) ARRE4ARS OF THEIR DECEASED HUSBANDS.AS LTA.
We all know that as per CDA cir 568, & 560 the Pensioners who died
after 2006 are eligible for DE-Linking arrears till the date of their death.
And the arrears to be paid to their NOKs as LTA
To our knowledge, most of
the Banks have not effected this LTA payment to the Widows.
We had represented
many cases ( more than 15) with arrears chart to different Banks, but they have neither paid
the arrears nor replied to our letters.
The poor widows are
visiting our Trust and reporting the non
payment of LTA.
In spite of our repeated
reminders, there is no progress.
This is the fate of the widows.
We had reported one of the cases to Ombudsman- RBI also about
this non payment of LTA.
All our ESM Associations
and Organisations are requested to help the affected widows in your areas which will be a great service.
