The long waited circular for Broad banding of Disability element for all categories like discharged / on completion of terms and condition etc. is issued vide CDA CIR 596 dated 9-2-2018.
The effective date will be 01-01-2016 only.
All affected veterans can now submit the annexures for Re-Computing the DE.
i.e 20%......to 50%
50%.....to 75%
and
75%,,,,,,,,,,,,to 100%...
Please note that if already re-computed once, you cannot apply again.
Note: All Disability pensioners are requested to verify that their Disability Element is revised
as per CDA cir 582 . i.e the Rate as on 31-12-2015 is X by 2.57.
for example= 20 % DE was 702... it is to be _ 702 X 2.57= 1805 + applicable DA as per 7th CPC.

ReplyDeleteIt is given to understand that the Circular says that before multiplying with 2.57, the old percentages have to make 50%, 75%, 100%. But as per your example, you have straightaway multiplied with 2.57, without Broadbanding.
