One Veteran sustained injury in a Mine Blast during War
like operation.
This blast occurred when the
soldier was in Toilet ( Latrine) , His leg below the ankle was blown and
Amputated and using artificial leg..
He was sanctioned with Normal
Disability pension.

We took up the case with
Record Office, CDA, DESW and Defence Minister.
After more than 3 yrs of
untiring correspondence , the PCDA has
now Re-considered the case and ISSUED with a Revised PPO converting the Normal Disability Element to
WAR injury element w.e.f the date of incident -1987-Vide PPO.No: D/BC/ 0001/2017.
It is a great achievement for
our Trust.
At present he is getting Disability Element @ 50% as per Cir 555-Table-76-Rs.2151-
As per the Revised PPO,he will get War Injury Element of 50%--- 4302 Cir 555 table 85

The innocent Veteran called
on us and expressed his sincere
