A disabled veteran , Driver MT by Trade, called on us for
a help for change of Group from E to Y as per CDA cir 478.

On verification of available Documents with him, it
was confirmed that his Trade was Driver-MT and his Group “E” at the time of discharge.
Now, as per CDA cir 478, all the MT drivers are upgraded
to Group D/Y with effect from 1-7-2009.
Accordingly, we made a representation to his Record Office.
Now he has received a Corr.PPO informing him that his
Group is upgraded to Y w.e.f 1-7-2009.
The Disabled Veteran along with his Handicapped son
called on us and expressed his sincere
thanks to our Trust for extending a
valuable help in his case.
Our Trust is also happy in helping one more veteran for
up gradation of Group.
