EXWEL TRUST MEMBERS VISITED A 93 YRS OLD WIDOW AT HER RESIDENCE.

 Dwelling House of Smt.Mariammal at her village called Thirupuliangudi, Tuticorin-Dist, TN..

 Smt.Mariammal  greeting us with  vanakkam.

Grand Son and his wife who are looking after the widow at her fag end of life. 

             

Our Trust members had visited the aged widow about 1 ½ years back at her residence in connection with her pension matter.  She was eligible for a Special Family pension but was being paid ordinary pension.

After a series of correspondences with Record Office and the CDA  from ourTrust, ,  the widow has now received  a confirmation letter from CDA that she is eligible for a Special Family pension.

On hearing this news, we again visited  her on 19-2-2014  at her residence and enquired about her health and informed the contents of the letter and our efforts. 

She greeted us  and not able to move or talk. She could only  node her head  for our conversation. It was a pitiable scene.

It is  unfortunate that the aged widow was not paid her entitled pension for the last 52 yrs.

Her Grand son with his wife are  looking after her .

We also visited the Canara Bank and apprised the Manager about the condition of the Widow and the non revision..

Again it was unfortunate that the Bank has not received the Confirmation letter from CDA so far. The branch Manager was kind enough to hear us and promised to effect the payment on receipt of the order/ letter from CDA.

In this critical time, we the Trust members along with her family members prayed the almighty  for the good health of the widow so that she receives her Eligible pension during her life time itself.

Our Trust is very happy in visiting the aged widow at her residence.
