Subedar A.Balakrishnan is expresing his thanks to our Liaison Officer Sgt.S.Kanthiah.
A post 2006 retired Subedar was getting less pension than a Pre-2006 Subedar of same group. Same length of service.

PPO.No: S/ 030998/2007 and S/Corr/ 237194/2011.
PDA: Canara Bank, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli-Dist., Tamil Nadu.
He was eligible for a Basic pension Of rs.11970/- but was receiving only Rs.9690/-
We took up the case with Record office AOC and CDA Allahabad and now received the Revised PPO for a Basic pension of Rs.11970/- with effect from 1-7-2009.
The Aggrieved Subedar was immensely happy and expressed his sincere thanks for this help by our Welfare trust.
I think, Subedar Balakrishnan retired from army after 2007 as per PPO No mentioned above so the revised pension should be sanctioned from the date of discharge instead of 1 Jul 2009.
