HELP REACHING OUT TO THE EX-SERVICEMEN AT THEIR DOOR STEP

Our on going efforts to trace out the aged pensioners, our Chief Liaison Officer Sgt.S.Kandiah made a visit to the residence of one Sub.T.P.Dhanapaul ( Aged 88 yrs) at Kovilpatti on 22.8.2010.

The ailing , immobile, Subedar with his family members were taken by surprise by the visit of Exwel Trust member. They were very happy that one Trust member came all the way from Tirunelveli and enquired about their health and living condition.

The spouse of Sub.Dhanapaul praised the good work carried out by the Trust and performed a prayer for a long and healthy life of the Trust members.

The eldest daughter Ms.Margaret Rose aged 52 who remain unmarried to look after her parents was narrating the happenings. The bedridden Subedar was recalling his olden days (Second Word War) with the Liaison Officer. He showed his both knees fractured during field operations in the IInd World War.

The Senior Manager of Central Bank of India, Kovilpatti Mr.Ram Gopal Pal was kind enough to release the additional pension arrears amounting to Rs.1,60,668 immediately to Sub.TP Dhanapaul. It is very rare nowadays, that a daughter remaining unmarried to look after the parents.

We are proud to publish the photographs of the family members of Sub.TP Dhanapaul, and Mr.Ram Gopal Pal (The Senior Manager, Central Bank of India, Kovilpatti) along with our Chief Liaison Officer Sgt.S.Kandiah.
