REITERATING  THE IMPORTANCE OF ENDORSEMENT OF FAMILY PENSION.

                           A SPECIAL DRIVE

Dear veteran brothers,

We have published in our Blog  on 4-3-2016 and 01-04-2020 regarding the importance of ENDORSEMENT OF FAMILY PENSION .

We understand  that still  some veterans have not applied for EPF  and part II order for birth of children,  marriage, death of First Wife , 2^nd marriage  etc.

On this regard, our MOD, Dept of ESM Welfare has once again  reminded  this wide their MOD Ltr No:345/DS/PG/SM/ 2020 dated 03-08-2020.

The  Part II order alone is not sufficient.  A PPO has to be obtained  including all the names of DEPENDENTS  who will be eligible for family pension after our demise.  Refer our Posting on 9-5-2020—Series- 33 .

Our veteran brothers are requested  to take this issue as most serious/ important   one and apply , if not already done to avoid sufferings  of our families after our demise..

All our ESM Associations / Organizations are requested   to convey this messages to veterans in their area.

NEW APP FOR DEFENCE PENSIONERS FROM CANARA BANK

  MONTHLY PENSION SLIP FOR DEFENCE PENSIONERS  FROM CANARA BANK.

A new app has been created in CANARA BANK   as
 PENSION SEVA PORTAL.

You can  visit the website  www.canarabank.com  and down load your monthly pension slip -  the procedure is  as follows:

When the site is opened, you will see on the RH side,  What is New;

Under that  , you will find  Pension Seva Portal…………Click that

Now you will see the  Icon   _ PENSION SEVA PORTAL  ……on RH side  Click Login

Another ICON-----  will ask for your  Bank A/c No…………..Type  a/c No

                                     Again confirm   a/c   ……………………….Type  a/c No.

   Under this column,  there is Login-…….you  click Login

    It will ask for OTP Number.

    Now a OTP number will be created on your   given Mobile .

    Type the OTP number -   Then click  Submit .

 You will see on the board as :   Pension Portal….Home….Report ….controls.

You click  ---Report….Here you will find  options:

Pension Slip,     Annual financial Statement,    and Investment declaration

Here you click--- Pension Slip.

It will ask for the period like………. Month…………Year…………..  give the particulars

Then click  create,

It will create the Monthly Pension Slip     , Annual Statement from April to March as per our requirement .

Thus every pensioner can down load their Monthly pension slip in this method 

.

Our Canara Bank account holders can utilize  this  Pension Seva portal facility .

COVID 19 TREATMENT FOR ECHS MEMBERS

ONLY GOVT HOSPITALS GIVING TREATMENT FOR
COVID 19 ECHS PATIENTS

VERY USEFUL INFORMATION TO OUR VETERANS- ECHS MEMBERS.

As per GOI. MOD letr No: 22D(17)/2020/WE/ D(Res-1) dated 29-7-2020  and

MD ECHS  Ltr No; B/ 49773/AG/ECHS/Rates/ Policy dated  29-07-2020,

It is reiterated  that all ECHS impaneled hospitals , which are notified as

 COVID-19  by the State Government shall provide  treatment facilities  to ECHS beneficiaries as per ECHS norms and as per prescribed rates for all COVID-19 related treatments.

Similarly, it is again reiterated that all the ECHS impaneled hospitals , which are not notified  as COVID-19 hospitals, shall not deny treatment facilities/ admission  to ECHS  members  and shall charge as per CGHS norms for all other treatments.

Suitable action shall be taken  in case of violation of the guidelines.

ECHS impaneled healthcare organizations ( HCOs) shall perform the treatment/ test on cashless basis in respect of ECHS  beneficiaries and submit the bills  to ECHS through  UTI / ITSL.  The Reimbursement  for the cost of expenditure  on the test at approved rate shall be reimbursed.

Our Veterans/  ECHS members  to note this and  may approach  their impaneled Hospitals  for COVID-19  treatment  under this  letters.
