TRUST HELPED ONE MORE WIDOW FOR DUAL FAMILY PENSION.

We have helped one more widow in preparing the required documents for DUAL FAMILY pension.

Name: Smt.Krishnammal    W/O Late  Sudalaiandi ( 7065135)   Rank: Hav

PPO.No: S / C /349 / 1985.

Late.Sudalaiyandi was re-employed in INS Kattabomman and  retired,  He was drawing both the pension.  His wife was receiving pension from INS, Navy only.  Now as per the latest circular  she is eligible for a pension from Military also.

In this regard, we guided her and applied.  Record office has sent the required documents.

We helped the widow in preparing all the documents , filling, attestation  etc.

The filled documents are forwarded to Record Office through our District Jilla sainik Board.

The widow and her son were happy of our efforts and thanked us for this valuable help.

We came to know that one widow of a Hony.Lt.is being paid less pension.

Name: Smt.SS.Lakshimi  W/O late   Siva Subramaniam   Rank: Hony.Lt (Sub) DOB: 31-12-1949.

Q.S: 28 yrs.      PPO.NO: S/CORR/ 108149/2001.   Date of death of pensioner: 22-5-2010

PDA: I.O.B  Tirunelveli-Dist.

She is eligible for Enhanced Rate of Family pension from 23-5-2010  to 31-12-2014  but being paid Normal rate of family pension of Rs.8100/-  instead of Enhanced Rate. w.e.f 23-5-2010

The eligible pension is  Rs.13500 w.e.f 23-5-2010 to 23-9-2012  and Rs.15465/- from 24-9-2012 onwards, as per CDA Cir 494 and 502, thus short payment.

We have now reported the discrepancy to the PDA and their CPPC at Chennai for revision and payment of arrears  to the tune of Rs.4 lacs plus.

The widow along with his Son, a serving  BSF Jawan, were very happy of our action and expressed their  sincere gratitude for such a help by the Trust..

Our Trust is satisfied by helping one more widow pensioner.

DA RATE INCREASED FOR INDIAN FREEDOM FIGHTERS

The DA rate for Freedom fighters is increased by  28%. 

It is increased from 165% to 193 % with effect from 01-08-2013.

AN OCTOGENARIAN HELPED.

  Our Liaison Officer Sgt.S.Kanthiah with the Octogenarian family at their residence.

Ex.Nk.KC.Duraipandian called on us and reported that his pension was not revised.

Name: KC.Duraipandian   Reg.No: 7021946.   Rank: Nk  Group- D/E         RO: EME

PDA: Canara bank. Tirunelveli-dist. TN.

 On verifying the documents with him, we noticed that his Trade was Driver- MT. and under Group- E.  The same is now under Group- D as per regrouping.  He was being paid pension for Group- E only………………………(1)

We took up the case with  Canara bank, HO and convinced them and got the Group changed as “D”. and revised the pension for D group and got the arrears.

He has completed 80 yrs of age also as his DOB was  Jul 1931.

After achieving the revision and change of Group, we visited the place of his residence to inform the same.

The Octogenarian and his wife were taken by surprise of our visit.

 They were very happy  of the result of our efforts and thanked us for this noble voluntary service towards the Ex-Servicemen community.

Our Trust is happy in helping an Octogenarian.

EXWEL TRUST VISITED 81 YRS OLD WIDOW PENSIONER AT HER DOOR STEP..

TRUST MEMBERS VISITED 81 YRS OLD WIDOW

We came to know that  a widow of a Subedar was getting unrevised pension.

Our Trust members visited the Widow at her residence. She is not keeping good health. She was happy of our surprise visit.

Group_ B   Qualifying service: 28 yrs.

PPO.No:  F/ NA/ 974/ 1969.

Date of birth ; 17-12-1932.

PDA:  SBI, Tirunelveli- Dist, TN.

On going through the available papers and pass book entries , we noticed that her pension is not revised as per Cir 502.  She is being paid a basic pension of rs.4770/ only instead of rs.7182/-

We have taken up the  non revision with the PDA , CPPC and their Local Head Office at Chennai.

The poor widow never expected  our visit and an arrears of about 75 thousand and an increase of pension by about 5000/ per month.

She was very happy of our action and thanked us for such a help at the door step.

Her daughter and Son-In Law are sincerely looking after  the old widow.

Our Trust is very happy in helping one more  81 yrs old widow pensioner.

YET ANOTHER WIDOW HELPED FOR GETTING FIRST PENSION.

One widow came to our office and complained that she is not being paid family pension after the death of her husband on 3-3-2013.

PDA: Indian Bank, Kovilpatti , Tuticorin- Dist,  TN.

On going through the available papers , we noticed that the Joint Notification for family pension is already existing, hence she is eligible for family pension from 4-3-2013 itself.

We informed the PDA about this and requested them to commence paying the Family pension after obtaining the death certificate and other required papers.  The Manager was kind enough  to hear us and promised to  disburse the pension in this month.

The widow was happy of our action and thanked us for this timely help.

It is s welcome step.  We can find out the history of a patient at any Polyclinic  in the country by this method.

The efforts of our Officer In charge  Col.Victor , Doctors and all other staffs are really commendable to achieve this program  within FOUR days time.
