One widow came to our
office and complained that she is not being paid family pension after the death
of her husband on 3-3-2013.

On going through the
available papers , we noticed that the Joint Notification for family pension is
already existing, hence she is eligible for family pension from 4-3-2013
itself.
We informed the PDA about
this and requested them to commence paying the Family pension after obtaining
the death certificate and other required papers. The Manager was kind enough to hear us and promised to disburse the pension in this month.
The widow was happy of our
action and thanked us for this timely help.
