ANOMALY IN PAY BAND- LT.COL-MNS OFFICERS.

  YET ANOTHER  ANOMALY – MNS OFFICERS

The Pay Band for MNS officers and that of regular Commissioned officers are different.

For Regular Officers:

Lt. to Major------the Pay Band   is  ---3  ….15600- 39100

Lt.Col. to Lt.Gen…….Pay Band   is.  4….. 37400- 67000

Whereas  for MNS officers………..

It is

From Lt  to Lt.Col…….Pay Band…. 3….15600  -  39100.

From    Col…Maj.Gen ..Pay Band is  .4….37400 -  67000.

All Lt. Col may be brought under Pay Band-4. Now it is different for MNS officers.
The Grade pay and the Military Service pay may vary, but the Pay Band may be same for all officers.

This is the Anomaly expressed by one of the MNS officer, a Lt.Col of 21 yrs of service.

Our Major ESM organizations and MOD may consider this issue  for addressing the Grievances of MNS officers ( Lt.Col.).
