there was News in the medias that, Defence pensioners - Sparsh details are leaked out and our details are known to others. that is, by LOG IN with the Sparsh PPO no and Pass word any body can view the details of a pensioner and in some place we can correct the details also. this has lead to misuse of the system.
To avoid such malpractice, our PCDA has introduce a new method of TWO factor Authentication.
In this method, by feeding Sparsh PPO number and Pass word alone the details will not be available. It will demand for OTP from the registered Mobile number of the pensioner., Hence, we can open the portal in the presence of pensioner only. this is more safer . On feeding the OTP number only we can view the details. It is a TWO step verification. , a double security. Good method.
All veterans are to note this TWO factor method..
