Based on the recommendations of the Chief of Staff Committee, Defence Ministry (MOD) has approved that }

“HENCE FORTH EX-SERVICEMEN WILL BE ADDRESSED AS

“ARMED FORCES VETERANS “

The issue has been considered at the IHQ of MOD ( Army) . It has been decided that the word PBOR will not be used here after and instead

“JCOs and ORs (Other Ranks) “

is to be used in all the letter communications.
