TRUST HELPED A WIDOW OF
CRPF VETERAN ALSO
One widow of a CRFP L/Nk
called on our office and reported that she is not being paid family pension
after death of her husband..

On scrutinizing her PPO
and other papers, we noticed that her name was mentioned as Babamani instead of Jebamani. The PDA refused to disburse the pension due
the difference in the name.
We represented the discrepancy
to CRPF HQs, in turn they instructed to get a DUAL name certificate from
District Authorities. We guided the
widow through her son to get the Dual name certificate and sent it to their HQ. The HQ
in turn took up the case with CPAO, New Delhi and now the widow received
the revised pension order with the name changed as Jebamani.
Now the PDA has agreed to
disburse the pension in this month itself.
The widow along with her
son came to our trust office and expressed their sincere thanks to our Trust
members for this noble service to the widows not only Military veterans and
also for para military forces.
