GOOD NEWS FOR VETERANS FAMILIES




HAPPY NEWS FOR VETERAN FAMILIES.

As per MOD letter date 25-8-2004, the Un-married/ widowed / divorced  DAUGHTERS of   Ordinary family  pensioners  are eligible for family pension beyond 25 years of age.

This provision was not applicable to the  daughters of  Liberalised / Special Family pensioners.

Now as per MOD letter No: 2 (2) / 2012/ D ( Pen/ Pol) dated 14-12-2012, this Benefit  is extended to the Un-married/ Divorced/ Widowed daughters of Liberalised / Special Family pensioners ( Dependant pension) beyond 25 years of age also.  . This provision is effective from 06-09-2007.

Eligible daughters may approach their respective Record Offices.

All Veterans  are requested to help the eligible daughters of LFP/ Spl.FP in your area.
