DISBURSEMENT OF OROP III REVISED PENSION

 

Dear veteran brothers,

 

The PCDA has released the circulat 677 for disbursenment of OROP III..

Revised pension from September 2024  for defence pensioners and  family pensioners. MAY BE DISBURSED    with 2 months arrears.  by Sparsh and Banks./

The Sparsh  Team has announced  that  who ever is benefited in OROP III,

  for them  Corr PPO is generated.

All affected  veterans can down load the corr PPO/

Our veterans  are requested to  follow and inform  other affected

veterans in their areas,

DOCUMENTS ACCEPTABLE FOR CORRECTION OF DOB OF SPOUSE.

 

Dear Veteran brothers, 

We understand that, there is Mismatch of Date of Birth  of Spouse in the PPO, incorrect or only year is mentioned.

Now, after Migration to Sparsh, we LOGIN to the Portal profile and Try to correct the DOB of spouse.   We were in doubt whether  only the Birth certificate is acceptable for correction of DOB.  It is very difficult to get a Birth certificate for elderly pensioners.

Due to lot of representations  to Government, the Dept.of Pension and Pension Welfare has issued an advisory in the regard ,  they say,

 the other Documents like,  Aadhar card, PAN card, Voters ID, Matriculation certificate, Passport, Driving License, and ECHS  card are acceptable for correction of DOB.

Hence, we can now correct the DOB of spouse  by Uploading any one of the said documents.

All our veterans are requested to note the same and pass on to other veterans also

VETERANS TO KNOW ABOUT DSP ATM/DEBIT CARDS

 

 

We are having our SB a/c converted to DSP  account/

Now, we can convert our ATM/ DEBIT CARDS into  DSP CARDS,

There are three Types of cards available

GOLD cards:    Sepoy to JCOs

DIAMOND cards:   Lt. to Major

PLATINUM CARDS  :  Lt.col and above .

Now we, approach our Bank branches  and request them to convert our

existing Normal ATM/DEBIT card to DSP card.   We have to give our full partyicualrs.

The Bank will issue us a New  ATM card   -mentioning as  SBI- DSP ARMY CARD -  VISA  GOLD

                                                                                        SBI..DSP  NAVY  CARD      VISA GOLD

                                                                                SBI-  DSP   AIR FORCE      VISA CARD.              

Now,  the benefits of   DSP ATM/DEBIT cards:

 1..  If a pensioner having DSP  debit card and dies in a accident  , his spouse/ nominee  will get

an insurance amount of Rs.2 Lacs. 

2. There is no limit of number of withdrawal in a month through parent or other Banks

3.Withdrawal limit is enhanced to 50000 per day

4. Shopping limit is enhanced to 2 lacs

 

So, if a pensioner having DSP sbi a/c and DSP debit  card dies in an accident his spouse 

Will get 30+2 Lacs.  From insurance  company. 

Our veterans are requested  to convert their existing ATM card to DSP ATM  card  immediately to get the Benefits.    

                                                                                                                                                                                                

KNOW ABOUT DEFENCE SALARY ACCOUNTS (DSP)

Our Ministry of denfence MOD)  and IRDA  and Ministry of Banking  have entered into

  a MOU for this DSP accounts  for the benefit of Serving as well as retired defence personnel.

Those who are having  DSP account will be benefited by this scheme \the benefits are:

1. You need not maintain minimum balance in the  account . No service  charge will be deducted,

2. If DSP account holder dies in an Accident,  his spouse/ Nominee will get a insurance coverage of  

   Rupees 30 Lacs.   For  serving person it is ONE Crore.

3.There is no commission for DD/MT   or  NEFT. RTGS-  money transfer .

4.there is no processing charge for CAR/ Housing Loans.

5.There is 10% rebate on Margin money for Car loans,

6.there si 25% rebate on Locker rent.

7. Over drawing in the account up to 2 months pension/ salary allowed.

Note; This accout in SBI is called DSP account, and the same is called in other Banks with

different names   In Canara Bank it is called as JEWEVAN DHARA  .The benefits will be the same.

All veteran brothers to note the same and advised  to convert their existing normal account to

DSP a/c immediately ro avail the benefits.
