On hearing the services of our Trust,
The below mentioned veteran visited our trust for change of the name of his wife.
Name: ARUMUGAM ISAAC Rank: Sep Regt.No; 1355427
PPO.NO: S/ 127928/87 RO. MEG, Bangalore
Name of his wife as per PPO: SEBESTIAL But in aadharcard and PAN Card
her Name is I.SEBESTIAL.
To avoid, problem at later stage, the name is to be changed as I.SEBESTIAL.
We prepared the required forms, Affidavit, Self Declaration, News paper publication,
We advised the veteran to forward the set of documents to Record Office through our Zilla Sainikboard.
The veteran and his family were very happy, and thanked us for this valuable help.

As per the new scheme, SPARSH – System for Pension Administration Raksha ,
Our pension will be credited from PCDA-SPARSH very soon. Our Bank & CPPC will have no roll to play. CPPC is completely removed - Bank & bank branch and the Account Number will remain same. The Monthly pension will be credited to our account as usual but on the last day of the month. If the last day happens to be a holiday, it will be credited on the previous day.
Now, as soon as our PPOs are Migrated to SPARSH from CPPC, the SPARSH will intimate to us , by a USER ID and a password. This is the indication that our PPO is received by SPARSH, The User ID and the Pass word is to be saved for all future correspondences.
For this, we have to UPDATE OUR DATAs with our Record Offices and Banks. So that, the correct latest DATAs Like Mobile No, Email ID, Aadhar card and PAN card are registered / linked with RO and banks. If there is ss any mismatch of this particulars, then our pension may not be credited to our accounts. We will face financial hardship and lot of correspondence in restoring the pension.
All our Veterans and families are advised to forward the Application for UPDATION OF DATAS to respective Record Offices through our ZSB immediately.
Our ESM Associations are requested to guide our veterans and families suitable .

The below mentioned
veteran visited our Trust office for change of Name of his wife. On going through his documents, we noticed that he is a Pre-1986 retiree and not applied for JOINT
NOTIFICATION so far.
We explained him about the
importance of Joint Notification and prepared the papers
APPENSIX-A AND ANNEXURE II, guided him to get it signed from his Bank
and send it to his Record Office
Through ZSB .

Our Defence Accounts Department of MOD has entered in to a Memorandum of Understanding MoU with e Governance Services India Limited in connection with the scheme SPARSH.-Pension
By this MoU, there will be
about 4 lacs Common Servicing Centers- CSC through out the Country.
These CSC will become an interface for SPARSH and provide effective
medium for pensioners. The CSC will
deliver pension services digitally to
the nook and corner of country . they will provide connectivity
to all pensioners , especially those who are residing in Remote areas
and those who are not have the means of Technical know how like receiving
SMS/mail etc.in Mobile phone.
The CSC will help them in
all the activities of pension, like Registration of Grievances, Digital Life
certificate, Pensioners date verification, Switching over to Family pension and
information regarding monthly pension etc.
Now, in addition to SBI and PNB in the list of Servicing centers,
KOTAK MAHINDIRA BANK is also will be servicing center.
It is a good
initiative by MOD and pension
disbursement through SPARSH may be
beneficial to pensioners if every
things goes on well.

The below mentioned veteran visited our Trust office for change of name of his wife
as it is misspelled in the PPO
Name: LAKSHMANA PANDITHEVAR DURAI RAJ
RANK: Hony.Lt ( SUB/MAJ ) JC 211696
PPO.NO: S/ 028752/2002 RO;EME
Name of his wife : SEENI CHELVAM but in PPO it is mentioned as SEENL CHELVAM.
We prepared the required documents like Affidavit, Self Declaration, News paper Publication ,
aadhar and PAN card and Bank Joint a/c .
We advised the veteran to forward the Documents to his Record Office through ZSB .
the veteran and his wife were very happy with our service and thanked us for this help.
Our Trust is also happy in helping one more veteran in this regard.
There are many veterans , ECHS members are still being paid Fixed Medical Allowance.
Many are not aware whether the FMA is stopped by Bank or not.
This drawing of FMA by ECHS members being noticed by Authorities and some action
being initiated, like denying handing
over of 64kb cards, Treatment etc..
When coming to know that FMA is being paid, the members are
reporting to the Bank, but Bank is not
stopping. Some banks are instructing to
Refund the already paid amount in Lump
sum, then only they will stop . This is the condition.
On receiving many
representation from various, ESM associations,
the PCDA has now issued a circular in this regard. CDA cir: 225 dated 31.01.2022.
Now, such ECHS members are
to obtain a FRESH FMA stoppage
certificate from Banks and submit to ECHS authorities.
The Banks are not to insist
for Refund of already paid amount in one Lump Sum. The recovery may be done on
monthly installment and not more that
1/3 of the basic pension.
ECHS authorities are
instructed not to deny treatment on this cause.
All our ESM
associations are requested to pass on this information to our ESM ECHS members in their areas.
