FIXED MEDICAL ALLOWANCE-

PAYMENT OF ARREARS REGARDING.

There are still many more  veterans who have not availed the Fixed Medical Allowance  even though the eligibility was from 01-12-1997.

Now, after about 15 years, they started claiming the FMA from the date of inception.

According to the Government of India,  Pension Ministry order No:4/4/2012-P & PW (D)  dated 19-11-2012, :

It is clear that the eligibility of FMA is not automatic. One has to apply for FMA with the required undertaking , then only one becomes entitled to the FMA.

The undertaking becomes effective only after confirmation from the concerned authorities.

Since the payment of FMA is dependent on condition including  submission of undertaking, the payment of arrears of FMA to be paid from receipt of application. Hence the question of arrears from back date does not arise, except in case of payment of revised FMA of Rs.300/-

All veterans are advised to note the same.

ONE MORE TS.NK HELPED.

     

 Veteran T.Srinivasan  with our Liaison Officer Sgt.S.Kanthiah.

The below named veteran called on our office and reported that he is getting less pension than his counter part.

Name: T.Srinivasan           Rank: Ts.NK.         Group- Y      QS. 18yrs.

PDA: Canara bank, Tuticorin-District.  TN.

On going through his PPO and pass book entries, we noticed that his pension was not revised as per CDA cir 501.

Immediately we contacted the PDA and CPPC at Bangalore  and informed about the non revision. The Bank officials accepted our findings and agreed to revise the pension and pay the arrears in this month itself.

The aggrieved veteran was happy of our action and thanked us for this help.

RECENTLY HELD RALLY AT REWARI

A mammoth meeting of Ex-servicemen  was held at REWARI  where our leaders including Our Retired Chief Gen. V.K Singh  participated.

YET ANOTHER WIDOW HELPED FOR GETTING FIRST PENSION.

Smt.Muthu Marriammal with her son at our Trust Office.

The below mentioned widow called on our office for a help in getting her family pension:

Nam: Smr Muthu Mariammal   W/O late: N.Ragu Moorthy  ( 14800358W)

PDA: SBI, branch, Tuticorin dist,                Died in – June 2013.

We verified the available records and  found that Joint Notification  is already existing.

Hence, the PDA  can switch over to family pension without  referring to any authority.

We have now written to PDA and their CPPC  along with a copy of death certificate  to disburse family pension with out further delay.

We also guided the widow how to claim the AGI insurance with letters to AGI and Record Office.

The widow was satisfied of our efforts  and thanked our Trust for such a help to families of Ex-Servicemen.

Smt.Jeyalakshimi  is expressing her sincere thanks to our Liaison Officer Sgt.S.Kanthiah.

The under mentioned  pensioner called on our office for confirmation of her correct pension.

Name: Smt.Jeyalakshimi     M/O Late R.Ramasubbu    Sep- 15507484

Type of pension: Liberalised – 2^nd award.

PDA: Canara bank, Tirunelveli-Dist.

 On going through her pass book entries, it was noticed that the rate of pension was not revised as per the latest CDA cir 502.

We contacted the branch and their CPPC and informed about the non-revision.

They were kind enough to accept our findings and agreed to revise the pension in this month itself and pay the arrears.

The widow was very happy  and thanked us for this valuable service by the Trust.

YET ANOTHER WIDOW HEPLED FOR JOINT NOTIFICATION.

Smt.Gnana seronmani with her son at our office.

The under mentioned widow called on us for a help in getting DUAL family pension.

She is receiving pension from TNEB.

Name: Smt.Gnana Seronmany   W/O Late .Kasimani Nadar- Spr.- 1304367.

 PDA: I O B- branch, Tirunelveli-Dist. TN.

On verifying the available document with the widow, we noticed that the deceased was a Pre-1984 reiree, hence there was no record for Joint Notification.  The widow is not aware of this.

We have now written to her Record office for clarification  whether Joint notification was done or not and guidance for DUAL family pension.

The widow was happy of our action and thanked us for this help.
