One of the Central Government Scheme of MSME was conducted at MS University study Centre on 14-12-2010 at Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli.

As per CDA Cir 430, the Double pension cases, only the Army pension is to be revised and the other case to be referred to RO/ CDA. But in this case, DSC pension is revised and Army pension is not revised. Army pension is more beneficial .

We have taken up the case with DSC in this regard. The pensioner was happy of our findings and thanked us for taking up the matter with higher ups.

Our Trust is happy in helping one more veteran.

On our persistent efforts in finding out the discrepancies in Pension payment,
We came to know that one Widow pensioner Smt.Greasy Durai Rajan was getting un-revised
Pension of Rs,7357 instead of 8310/-

PDA: Canara bank: Shenkottai, Tirunelveli-District, Tamil Nadu.

We reported the non revision of pension to the PDA but it was delayed. Then the matter was taken up with Circle Office, Madurai and now the pension is revised and the arrears paid after

a laps of nine months.

The Widow pensioner called on us and expressed her thanks for taking the efforts for getting her pension revised.

This is yet another achievement for our Welfare Trust.

EXWEL TRUST JOINS IN CELEBERATING
ARMED FORCES FLAG DAY

Our Trust members joined in the celebration of Flag day at our Tirunelveli District Collector’s office premises.

District collector Mr.Jeyaraman distributed welfare grants and few Land Pattas to Veterans and their families.

Our Collector also spoke high of our Soldiers about their duties during War times and other occasions like Natural calamities and internal unrest. He advised the recently retired veterans to go for Self employment rather than waiting for Government Jobs.

The celebration concluded with National Anthem.
During the refreshment , our District collector interacted with our Trust members and many of our Veterans..
