TERM OF ENGAGEMENT FOR MILITARY HONY OFFICERS

 

GOOD NEWS FOR HONY.LT OF ARMY AND HONY SUB,LT AND HONY LT OF NAVY.

As per CDA cir 555, OROP-I,

 the maximum term of engagement for Hony.Lt in Army was  21-30yrs.

Now, as per PCDA cir 679  dated 04-12-2024, it  is  enhanced as  21 to 33 yrs. w.e.f 30-5-1998.

Same way for Navy:

Existing   Term  for Hony.Sub.Lt ………….21-30yrs

Now enhanced as  …………………………..21-33 yrs  w.e.f   30-05-1998

For  Hony Lt also   ……………..21-30 to   21-33yrs    w.e.f  30-05-1998.

For MCPO I  and equivalent Ranks   also   enhanced to  21-33 yrs

We understand the  for AIR FORCE, 

FOR   Hony.Flying Officers    Existing   Term -   21-32 yrs

And for  Hony Flight Lieutenant  -  Existing Term   -  21-33 yrs 

We feel , there is no change.

FOR  DSC  OFFICERS;

Hony .Lt.   Existing  Term………………..21-30 yrs

        Enhanced to  21-33 yrs w.e.f   30-05-1998.

For Hony.Capt…..Existing  Term…….21-30

      Enhanced  to……………………………21-33 yrs w.e.f..30-05-1998

The affected  Hony .officers   and Family pensioners  may  get their

  enhanced  pension as per OROP-III  as per  PCDA cir 679.soon.

GRANT OF SERVICE ELEMENT AND DISABILITY ELEMENT FOR DISABLED VETERANS

 

Dear veteran brothers, 

There was a provision for granting DISABILITY ELEMENT  only for those

 who were boarded out with less than 10 yrs of service prior to 1-1-2006..

Now, our Govt., on considering the sufferings of such veterans , has  published

  an order in 2020  for granting both Service element and Disability for such veterans

  Whether Pre  or Post 2006 invalided out veterans w.e.f  01-01-2006.

The Dept of Pension and Pension welfare has issued an order on 28-7-2020.

We understand that , still some Banks are paying only Disability element .

The Order is very clear to pay both SERVICE  ELEMENT and DISABILITY ELEMENT  to such veterans w/e/f  1-1-2006.

The affected veterans may approach  their Bank branches for getting this benefit

 or  they can approach our Trust office for guidance and help.

It is easy to calculate familypension.    We are  giving you one table. 

This table for  Ordinary Family pension only,   For Special and  Liberalised  family pension, the percentage will change, 

  

You can use  Table No. 7 of  OROP- II   and III.  This Table is enough for calculating all the types of  Family pension.
