AUNNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING( 2022-23 )OF ARUPPUKOTTAI ESM WELFARE ASSOCIATION

Our Aruppukottai ESM Association is  holding  Annual General Body meeting- at 

Aruppkorai   on  15-08-2023.. This  function is held  on the day of  76th Independence day..

We all wish the function  a grand success.

ONE MORE FRUITFUL RESULT FOR OUR EFFORTS

    ONE MORE ACHIEVEMENT  FOR OUR EFFORTS 

One Widow  pensioner, approached us  for enrolling  as a  ECHS  member.

We noticed that she is the   2^nd wife of  Late Hony.Nb.Sub S.Venkatachalam ( 6282785)  who died on 23-11-2015, Signals Record Office.

As the pension rate was  50%,  on interaction, she told that there is a Handicapped daughter born to first wife. That is why 50%.   Then going through  the available documents , we confirmed that there is

 Part II order for the daughter., but pension was not sanctioned,

Immediately we wrote to  Signals Record office  narrating the events under intimation to PCDA, Allahabad.  We started our  correspondence from August 2021.  After, rectifying  the observations, the  H.Daughter is now sanctioned with remaining  50% ( Divided pension clause)

PDA: Central bank of India,  Kilapavoor. Tirunelveli-Dist TN.  .   There was a delay in disbursement, we made a complaint to Ombudsman, RBI  and now   , the pension is credited with arrears  .

The poor lady, short legged, not able to walk,  came  to our Trust Office today 09-08-2023,

in a Car with her step-mother  and expressed her sincere thanks to our Trust.

Our Trust  is very much happy   in getting her pension  sanctioned  and it is another great achievement  for our Trust.

ESM RALLY IN DELHI AT RAM-LEELA GROUND

 

A grand Rally was held in Delhi  at Ram-Leela ground  on 06-08-2023

Thousands of veterans attended the Rally  on 06-08-2023 ( SUNDAY)   at RAM LEELA GRAOUND  in Delhi   to express our demand  to the Government ,   like OROP  discrepancy,  MSP, Disability , Family pension , fixation factors , OROP II tables etc.

The RALLY WAS A GRAND SUCCESS.

OUR CHIEF LIAISON OFFICER HONOURED IN A FUNCTION

 

OUR  CHIEF LIAISON  OFFICER  AIR.VET.SGT.S.KANTHIAH -HONOURED.

             Our Exwel Trust,Chief Liaison officer  Vet.Sgt. S.kanthiah  was invited by  Canara bank,  Retired  Officers Association  (CBROA) at

  Canara Bank, Palayamkottai  branch premises  on 06-08-2023. 

Mr. Varagunan, Regional Secretary and Mr. Ananaraj  . Tirunelveli Secretary  appreciated the services of  Mr.kanthiah in Bank and  at present in  Ex-Servicemen Welfare Trust in this 83 yrs age. .

He was honoured for his  services in Canara bank, and  attaining age of more than 75 yrs of age 

He  is the Senior most member in the function  - 83Yrs of age.

 He was honoured  by other members   and  presented by  a Gift  and a certificate  on this occasion. 

We  the Members of Exwel Trust, Tirunelveli-Dist, Tamil Nadu  are proud to know that our Liaison Officer is honoured .   We also wish him  all the best  on this occasion.

 

YET ANOTHER ACHIEVEMENT FOR OUR WELFARE TRUST

 

   SMT.A. JEBA KUMARI  W/O  LATE  SEAMAN  ESJ.KUMAR   AT OUR TRUST OFFICE

          

             On hearing the services of our Trust, one  Naval Widow  approached us for claiming   Family pension under SPECIAL PENSION  scheme.

 Name : SMT. JEBA KUMARI   W/O LATE E S J KUMAR, 

 Rank: Seaman-1    Service No: 91964    Group- Y    QS; 11 yrs

Died on 20-11-2019..

We , down loaded the Special Pension claim forms and  filled up  and forwarded with all required annexures to Naval Record Office.

After rectifying many observations,  and about one year correspondence,   the Widow is now  sanctioned  with family pension sunder SPECIAL PENSION SCHEME vide:

PPO.no:  248197700096-8600  w.e.f   01-09-2018.

The Widow, now residing   at  Madurai, with her daughter,  visited our Trust office today ( 05-08-2023 )   and expressed her sincere thanks  to our TRUST  Members for all the help extended  for  getting her pension.

Our Trust is also very happy in achieving  one more   favourable  result of our efforts. 

This is third case of NAVY SPECIAL PENSION   FOR WIDOWS.

SPARSH DATA CORRECTION AND UPDATING PROOF

 

  

 SPARSH   -UPDATING  DOCUMENTS  FOR  EVIDENCE FOR CORRECTION OF DATAS. 

                        Dear Veteran brothers ,

We all know that the SPARSH  system has come in to force and it will continue  in our pension payment system.

Here, where  ever  we need some corrections in our DATAs , there is provision  by going to

 My profile and Manage profile option,  correct it, save and submit.   For some DATAs, system demands  proof for the correction.

 For example : Correction in DOB of spouse. / family pensioner

After correction, we have to upload  proof for DOB.    As per system, we have to upload,

Birth certificate  or School certificate.

Here, many widow pensioners, aged and not educated  do not posses these 2 documents;

What to do in this cases.

We, suggest  that  our Discharge book  is having the particulars of Dependents with DOB and Part II order,   Which can be easily  uploaded and accepted.

Again , the AADHAR CARD  is a UNIQUE  identifier for all purposes.  This can be accepted as proof.

Again, for change of Postal PIN code,  Country,  Address  etc, system demands, 

Citizenship card, Electricity Bill, House Tax  receipt , Driving License, Pass port   which are irrelevant to the  subject  of Defence pensioners.   The DISCHARGE BOOK  is  No. 1  proof  and the AADHAR CARD is  the other proof.   Correction of Bank details, the First page of Bank pass book is accepted  instead of  crossed  blank cheque

Hence, for all DATA corrections , DSICHARGE  BOOK AND AADHAR CARD   should be  enough and accepted  for evidence  of all cases. 

All ESM organizations  and Senior veterans are requested to put forward these points to our  Record Offices and SPARSH authorities.
