ESM PENSIONERS AWARENESS MEETING

AT SRIVILLIPUTTUR , TAMIL NADU.

An awareness meeting of Ex-Servicemen was held at Srivilliputtur, Virudhunagar –Dist of Tamil Nadu on Sunday, the  13-12-2015.About 400 Esm and widows attended the meeting.

Brigadier CS.Vidyasagar(Retd)  accompanied by  Cmde. Sudik Parkalla  Were the chief guests.

Col.Arasu and Col.Navaneetha Krishanan were among the organizers.

Brig. Vidyasagar  explained  with  Power Point Slides  about various  heads  regarding  pension- Service/Disability/War Injury  /Ordinary /Special and Liberalised family pensionand ECHS . He explained with examples and calculations, which was very much impressive  and easy to understand.

He also  explained the main features of 7^th Pay commission - Plus and Minus points  in brief.

He  informed with regret that many widow pensioners are being paid short pension  as they are not aware of their entitlement.

He advised  the veterans to help such innocent widows  in their areas  to get  their correct Rate of family pension.

He  informed the Gathering that there are deficiencies in the cir 547 and 549 regarding  pre-2006 arrears payment  and taken up the issue with Dept.of ESM Welfare .

The veterans and widows were happy and satisfied with the meeting  and thanked the Touring  senior  veteran Officers.

The meeting concluded with a Vote of thanks by Nb.Sub.Shanmugam  and National Anthem.,

SAINIK AKROSH RALLY AT JANTAR MANTAR

One more Rally - Sainik  Akrosh Rally was held  o 13-12-2015 at JantarMantar  for early implementation of OROP  and to  Remove the anomalies  in the Notification. Hundreds of veterans and veer Narees took part in the rally.

OUR SOLDIERS ON RESCUE WORK

Our soldiers get on to the Job when ever ordered  whether a War time or peace time or Natural calamities.

But our government is not worried much about their Pay and pension.

Imagine how people and Goods are being transported with out pollution in cities like New Delhi. It is Imagination.  There will be no pollution .

ONE MORE AGGRIEVED VETERAN HELPED.

Veteran R.Subbiah is expressing his sincere thanks to our Managing Trustee Sgt.R.Chellappa -Air Veteran.

The under named veteran called on us and reported that his pension is reduced from the Month of May 2015 with no reason.

PDA: Central Bank of India, Tuticorin-Dsit.

On going through his available Documents, we noticed that he was being correct rate of pension till April 2015  and it was reduced from May 2015.

Immediately we contacted his PDA  and we came to know that it was due to SANGAM PPO  which was issued for lesser amount.

We informed the PDA  to refer CDA cir 163 and 181  and asked them to revert back to the previous correct Rate of pension as per CDA cir 501.

The Bank Manager was kind enough to hear us and agreed to do the needful early.

The aggrieved veteran was happy with our action and thanked us for the timely help.

Our  Ex-Servicemen Welfare trust, Tirunelveli –District has Donated the following items  today to the Flood affected victims of CUDDALURE.

The Parcels were sent through  KPN Travels  to CUDDALORE.

We express our deep sympathies to the affected people.
