We came to know that one Hony.Nb.Sub was getting un-revised pension so far.

Name: C.Thomas Gnaraj Rank: Hony.Nb./sub (Hav) Reg.No; 2548920
PPO.No: S/ C/ 28356/84
PDA: Canara bank, Arumuganeri, Tuticorin-Dist, TN.

His pension was not revised as per CDA cir 430. He was being paid at 6353 instead of rs.6790/-.
We represented the case to his Record office MRC, and received reply from MRC that the correct Rate is rs.6790/-.

We informed the same to the PDA and their Head Office. The Manager of the branch was kind enough to accept our submission and promisied to revise the pension in this month itself .

The aggrieved Veteran was very happy and expressed his sincere thanks to our Trust.

ONE RAILWAY WIDOW PENSIONER HELPED.

One Railway widow pensioner was receiving V th Pay commission pension only.

She was being paid a basic pension of rs.2087 only so far , the V th PC rate.
She is eligible for a Basic pension of rs.3500/- with effect from 1-1-2006.

We reported to the PDA and the Bank Head office about this discrepancy. The manager was kind enough to accept our submission and assured to revise the pension and pay the arrears in this month itself.

The poor widow thanked us our Trust for this timely help.

On our persistant efforts and interactions, we noticed that , one widow was being paid ordinary family pension instead of Special Family Pension.

As the Soldier died in service, the widow was eligible for Special Family pension, but being paid Ordinary family pension only.

We have informed the discrepancy to the PDA and their record Office for revision of pension.

The widow was very happy and thanked us for this noble service.

We came to know that one Ex-Serviceman expired in February 2012 and family pension has not been commenced so far.

Though the Joint Notification is already existing, and the widow has submitted the Death certificate and a request letter to commence Family pension, the PDA has not disbursed the pension till date.

We contacted the PDA and their Head Office and informed them about the delay and requested them to commence Family pension.

The Manager was kind enough to accept our request and agreed to commence the family pension from this month itself only.

The aged widow was very happy and thanked us for this timely help.

CDA(P) INTRODUCES SUVIGYA PROGRAMME

CDA (P) WEBSITE INCLUDES “SUVIGYA” SOFTWARE

At last, the CDA(P) Allahabad website www.pcdapension.nic.in has included the “Suvigya” software in their website.  Now all internet users can log on to www.pcdapension.nic.in and clik at “Suvigya” software to know the amount of their pension payable to them.

This is the first time that the “Suvigya” software has been uploaded in the net successfully.  It is a great relief to many defence pensioners.  Although there are some difference in the pension calculation of certain ranks like Hon.Nb.Sub. and Nb.Sub.  But otherwise, the software is very much useful for all the defence pensioners.

Earlier, this software was made available to Director General of Resettlement for issue to all the directorate of ex-servicemen welfare throughout the country.  But unfortunately, this approach was of very limited use.  Now,  since  it has been made available through the internet, every defence pensioner can  make use of this programme.  Well done CDA(P) Allahabad.
