The below named veteran attended the 75th Independence day function at our Military canteen on 15-08-2022.
Our Liaison Officer Vet.Sgt.S.kanthiah also attended the function..

Receiving Additional pension of 20%. OK. PDA: Indian Bank
By his appearance, our Liaison officer, enquired about his age and Joint Notification. Age, he told 90+, and he had not applied for Joint Notification.
In his PPO, old type, name of his wife is there, hence part II order for marriage was published.
Then we explained the importance of Joint Notification and advised him to visit our Trust Office along with all available Documents.
There was his Discharge Book of Army only and the Old PPO, not computerized PPO>
We prepared the required papers- Appendix-A and Annexure II in Triplicate, got his and wife’s Signature. We advised him to get attestation from his Banker, Indian Bank ,. He got it done.
Then , we prepared an application for Endorsement of Family pension, and guided him to forward the same to His Record Office, DSC, Cannanore through his Zilla Sainik Board , Tuticorin.
The aged veteran was very happy with all our action, and sincerely thanked us for this valuable volunteer work.
Our Trust is very much happy in helping an Octogenarian for publication of
JOINT NOTIFICATION.
